Baptism is one of the most significant parts of our worship. Whether a child or an adult is getting baptized, God is at work in the lives of the one being baptized.
Adult Baptism: When an adult is baptized, they are making a profession of faith claiming that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of their life. Baptism is just the beginning of a person’s faith journey. EPC walks alongside people who make this significant step in their life helping them grow as followers of Christ. If you are interested in knowing more about Jesus Christ or would like to be baptized, please talk with one of our pastors or Elders.
Child Baptism: When a child is baptized, the parents make a profession of faith on behalf of their child. As the parents claim that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, they also make commitments to raise their child to know Jesus Christ. In baptism, a child becomes a part of the church family but they must one day, make their own decision to follow Jesus Christ. This decision often takes place in the elementary or middle school years. Many of our children confirm their parents desire when they go through the confirmation process. EPC walks alongside families as they teach their children about faith and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Scheduling: We baptize both children and adults during worship on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays. Please contact Linda Delbridge in the office (770)977-2976 for more information or to schedule a date. Note that at least one parent of the child must be a member of Eastminster.
EPC delights in hosting weddings for our members and is eager to make your wedding one that will be remembered with deep joy. At EPC, we believe that God created, ordered and blessed the covenant of marriage. We rejoice in Christian marriage, which is given by God, blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ and sustained by the Holy Spirit. We believe marriage is a holy mystery in which a man and a woman are joined together, and become one, just as Christ is one with the church. Wedding services are an act of worship.
Planning: We believe each part of the service — the planning and the day itself, the music, and all parts of the service are important. The service celebrates the love of our brides and grooms and the gift God gives us in marriage. The first step involves checking on available wedding dates and times, so please contact our church office for information and scheduling: (770)977-2976.
Wedding Guild: The Wedding Guild meets as weddings are planned and take place. Guild members work with the bride and groom to ensure a fulfilling, Christ-centered, and memorable wedding experience. To learn more about the Wedding Guild, contact Wedding Coordinator Annette Harlow.

Funerals and Memorial Services
A Service in witness to the Resurrection: Giving thanks for the life of your loved one
Memorial and funeral services in our church are services of Christian worship, giving thanks that, though the body may die, eternal life is promised and assured in Christ. These plans should provide for arrangements that are simple and reverent, bearing witness to resurrection hope, and comforting to your family.
