Senior Pastor, Head of Staff
Bob Bullock

Bob came to Eastminster in December of 2003 from Midland, Texas, where he served as interim pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church. He has been a pastor for 26 years in nine congregations and four presbyteries in urban, suburban, inner city, and rural settings. In addition to his ministry, he has developed skills in conflict management, mediation and strategic planning with clients such as the Catholic Diocese of Galveston-Houston, Shalom Ministries for Community Development in Midland, and several Methodist and Presbyterian churches.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He then entered Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and was awarded his Master of Divinity degree in 1975. In 1992, he earned his Doctor of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas.

Bob answered Eastminster's call for a pastor who has Christ at the center of his life, whose faith is strong and full of the Holy Spirit, and who thoughtfully and enthusiastically conveys the traditional reformed Presbyterian message to the gathered congregation. He recognizes Eastminster as a community and a congregation in need of active educational programs and an increased awareness of evangelism.

Bob has said, "When I open my Bible I expect to encounter God personally. The same is true when I preach or teach the Bible. My encounters with God through prayer and Scripture have so shaped my life that I am excited about sharing how God can be real and personal to anyone who will open their lives to Him. It is no surprise then, that I always find myself working for the spiritual renewal of every congregation I serve and every person I pastor."
