Day 1: December 3rd, 2017

  • Deuteronomy 16:15: For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete. (Susan Welborn)

Day 2: December 4th, 2017

  • 1 Chron. 12:39-40: The men spent three days there with David, eating and drinking, for their families had supplied provisions for them. Also, their neighbors from as far away as Issachar, Zebulun and Naphtali came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules and oxen. There were plentiful supplies of flour, fig cakes, raisin cakes, wine, olive oil, cattle and sheep, for there was joy in Israel. (Cliff Lowrey)

Day 3: December 5th, 2017

  • 1 Chron. 16:31-33: Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
        let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
    Let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
        let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
    Let the trees of the forest sing,
        let them sing for joy before the Lord,
