God Provides! As requests for Stephen Ministers has increased, the level of interest in training has also risen. If you have thought about participating in this wonderful ministry, take a moment and fill out an application, that is available in the church office. Then please give that application to either Emily Gilbert, Melinda Freeman, or Mike Hays.  Training classes will begin in August.  If you have ANY questions please call Emily Gilbert (678-354-6787).

Soles 4 Souls Shoe Collection: The Genesis Circle will be collecting new and gently worn "sneakers" during the month of March for Soles 4 Souls.  Soles 4 Souls is collecting shoes for the people of Haiti and Chile.  Please secure your sneakers with a rubber band and place them in the box marked "Soles 4 Souls" outside the Choir Room.  Only "sneakers" for now please.  If you have any questions, email Pamela at vrana@bellsouth.net or Sally at d.brentzel@comcast.net

Art Mission Invitation:  Painting/drawing group began on March 3rd.  Come and enjoy the fellowship.  No experience required, just a passion for painting and/or drawing.  Bring whatever supplies you have on hand.  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, Wednesday afternoons from 4-6 pm.  Questions:  Contact Charlotte Hayes at charlottehayes@bellsouth.net or 770-992-8504.

Now Offering – Rebellious Children? A Bible study and support group for parents who are/have struggled with rebellious children. Contact Mary Ann Gardner (770-518-7452) for details.

The Mission Team is collecting hygiene and baby kits (see insert) to send to Haiti. Please fill a one gallon plastic bag with the contents for either or both of these and place them in the designated box. You may contribute as many as you wish. The mission team will take car of sending them on to Haiti. Thanks so much for your compassion for these needy people in the face of disaster.

The 2010 Flower Calender is on the bulletin board in the alcove. Please sign up for the date of your choice (only two arrangements per Sunday).

Sheets: The nursery is in need of old/new fitted sheets for the cribs. Please drop-off in nursery.

Blood Pressure checks are in Room 6 from 10:30-10:45 each Sunday. 

The Library Will Now Be Open from 5-6PM before the Wednesday night dinners and on Sundays from 10-11AM. We're still looking for volunteers, if you can volunteer 1-2 hours per month we need your help.

Food Items Needed for MUST: Cereal, peanut butter, jelly, soup, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, canned meat, canned fruit, canned pasta, canned vegetables, canned and dry beans, macaroni and cheese, baby food, rice, boxed meals. Pick up a few extra cans or boxes on your next trip to the grocery store. • Women's Bible Study: The Wednesday Bible study group will continue studying the book of Ephesians this Wednesday, March 10th at 10am in Room 202. We will be using the amazing collection series and work our way through the New Testament. Come and join us!

• The Spunky Spirits will meet March 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at the home of Eleanor Tandy, 2738 Twin Leaf Trail, Marietta 30062, 770-977-1089.  We will continue our study of Proverbs 31, lessons 19 & 20.  Please bring  a dish to share, and come and enjoy the Bible Study and Fellowship with this dynamic group of women.  For additional information please contact, Jane Merry 678-560-0218 or Nancy Speiser 770-642-7229.

• Annual Mission Offering 2010 - The annual mission offering will be held March 14th. This offering allows Eastminster to meet God where he is working and join Him in that work. In 2009 that work included supporting 18 people and organizations, both locally and internationally. Please prayerfully consider what God is calling you go give so we can continue His work.

• Ladies Lunch Bunch will meet at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 18 we will meet at 12:00 noon at Provino's Italian Restaurant located at 440 Ernest Barrett Parkway at Town Center.  Please, plan to join us for a delightful time of fun, fellowship and good food.  RSVP to Jo Byrd at jobyrd280@bellsouth.net or 770-426-6558  by the Wednesday prior to each lunch date in order for the restaurants to have our tables prepared.

• VBS - Save the Date. . .We will Sail the High Seas with God June 7—11.  VBS needs the following items: Tarps, brown cardboard, old boxes/trunks, burlap sacks, soccer nets, old maps, barrels, rope, blue cloth material, lanterns, brass bells, and life preservers.  Please give them to Allison.
