R12 Christian

Learn to be a R12 Christian: In Chapter 12 of the Book of Romans, the Apostle Paul outlines the personal and practical essence for living a faithful Christian life. Much of this doctrine centers on relationships – relationships to God, to the world, to ourselves, with believers and with non-believers. Each of these categories has a response that the Bible says is a sign of a mature and equipped follower of Jesus Christ. Starting Wednesday, January 13th you can start down the path to becoming a R12 Christian. This weekly class will be held in the CLC starting at 7 p.m. and taught by Eddie and Teri Capparucci. The class will provide a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world’s values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love and supernaturally responds to evil with good. The Element

Senior and Middle High students are invited to join adult leaders Tom Schuette, Joe Walls, and Drew Scholtens for evenings of Bible study, praying and movie watching. This group meets in the youth room of the CLC from 7-8pm every Wednesday evening.

Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills

Allison Scholtens and Walt Keller will be leading this 36 week study in which children in grades K-5 will learn the books of the bible, the Bible divisions, ten key passages and how to find them. They will also learn eight Bible versus and how to apply them. In addition, they will study Bible stories, Bible history and Bible people in a fun format including games, puzzles, drama and crafts. This class will be meeting in Classroom 208 upstairs in the CLC. This class will be from 7-8pm every Wednesday evening.
