This world pulls us in many directions and encourages us to take actions that sometimes go against our Christian values. The fourth annual Eastminster Men’s Retreat, entitled “Following God’s Lead” will consist of a series of talks focusing on living a life that is spiritually-based as opposed to worldly-based. We will discuss how the transformation of an individual’s character can take place when we make decisions and take actions based on spiritual guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Our speakers include Eastminster’s own Eric Horton, Tom Dilworth, Eddie Capparucci, and Tommy Nickles. We also will have a very special guest speaker, Captain Bart Newman, author of the book “Because of Baghdad”. While serving a year in Iraq , Captain Newman started writing a journal that he could leave for his daughter in case he didn’t come home. That journal became this book, in which he draws on his experiences from Iraq and faith in God to address the most important issues of life. Every man attending will receive a free copy of Captain Newman’s book.

The cost is $85 and includes meals, accommodations, and Captain Newman’s book.
