News and Events for the Week of June 10, 2018

Eastminster’s summer hours are in effect! We will be open Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-4:30PM and Friday 8:30AM-12:30PM.

—  Imagine reviewing the entire old testament in just 3 hours. Well, here at EPC we will be getting that opportunity when “Walk Through The Bible” brings its special, live presentation to our church on Saturday, June 23 from 9AM to 12PM. This is your opportunity to see the stories of the Old Testament come to life before your eyes. So if you want to spend a few hours dusting up on your Old Testament knowledge, Walk Through The Bible is where you need to be on June 23.  Tickets are $10 and you can pre-register online here!

—  Do you have a love for teaching? Eastminster christian preschool  is looking for you! ECP  is now hiring loving teachers and assistants for the 2018-2019 school year. Come join the FUN and be a part of God’s work in these little ones’ lives. Applications are available here. Please email resumes to Dawn, (dawn.milazzo@epres.org.)

— On this Tuesday, June 12, Eastminster volunteers will make 500 lunches each day for a total of 1,500 lunches. It only takes about an hour of your time. We will meet in the kitchen of the CLC at 9:30AM on the above dates! All you need to bring is a big smile! No sign-up needed-just come! Teenagers – we can sign off on service hours if you need them. Questions? Contact Karen Miller (678-522-5267, karenmiller0@gmail.com).

— For those unable to make a Wednesday evening commitment, we are trying something new to accommodate you! Throughout the summer the chancel choir will meet each Sunday at 10:15AM in the choir room to rehearse the anthem of the day and the following week’s anthem.  We will then assist musical worship at the 11:15AM liturgy.  Contact Tony, (anthony.rimore@epres.org, 678-294-8848) and let him know so we have enough music.  This is open to anyone from grade 9 up until age 90. All you need is to bring yourself and a spirit of musical worship!

— On Sunday June 17 beginning at 10:15AM immediately after the Road service, your help is needed (and greatly appreciated) to move and rearrange chairs, set-up stage decorations, and begin decorating the halls and classrooms. Thank you!

— If anyone is interested in CPR Training, please contact Robert Chesser, (rchesser78@gmail.com, 404-403-8931).  You will be certified after the training.  I encourage everyone to take this training!  It will take place after the 11:15 service on Sunday June 24. We may have another training possibly after the 9AM service if there is enough interest.
